How much should a good DJ cost?

Budget

As you've found out by now, planning a wedding means you to balance a budget achieve the best results you can.  Different people have different preferences with how to spend the money.

There are lots of costs to think about:  dress, venue, photographer, cake, catering, cars, suit hire, wedding favours & entertainment.  The list is nearly endless!

Most of our clients have entertainment as a high priority in the list.

Good DJs, not-so-good DJs

There are lots of DJs who perform at weddings - some good and some not-so-good.  From our experience, the good DJs know the value of their skills and tend to be a bit more expensive.

Relax & enjoy the evening

The evening part of the reception is the part where you get to relax and enjoy yourselves after the formalities of the day.  It's often a major part of the day and can be four hours or more of music.

As a percentage of the cost of a wedding or other event, the DJ cost is often one of the lowest, but one that has one of the biggest impacts on the day.

We can't speak for our competitors, but we know that we always make an effort to make things extra special for you so your memories are good ones!

Wide range of prices

I've recently spoken to a potential client who had received a quotation and thought it was a bit expensive.  It turned out it was a quotation for £1900 + VAT.  At the other end of the scale a recent potential client was looking for a DJ for between £160 and £250.  Our prices are somewhere inbetween, depending on your exact requirements.

Find a DJ that you are comfortable with

All I can really say is that I'd recommend looking for a DJ that you are comfortable with and you trust to do a good job on your wedding day.
